Our approach to privacy
KeepForThem is designed around a simple principle: the personal information you enter into your Guide should remain private.
KeepForThem helps you create a family preparedness Guide containing information you choose to provide about your household, important contacts, financial relationships, insurance, important documents, responsibilities, and personal wishes.
Your completed Guide information is stored locally in your browser while you use KeepForThem. We do not intentionally transmit or store the contents of your completed Guide on our servers.
Information you enter into your Guide
KeepForThem does not require or intend for you to enter passwords, PINs, full financial account numbers, security codes, safe combinations, or other sensitive access credentials. Please do not enter that information into your Guide.
Information you enter while creating your Guide remains on the device/browser you use to create it, subject to the operation of your browser and device.
Because we do not store a copy of your completed Guide, we generally cannot recover your Guide contents if they are deleted, your browser data is cleared, your device is lost or replaced, or you access KeepForThem from another device.
Purchase and payment information
When you purchase KeepForThem, payment processing is provided through Stripe. Payment information is processed by Stripe under its own privacy and security practices.
KeepForThem may maintain limited information necessary to verify and restore your purchase access, such as your email address, payment status, purchase amount and currency, payment transaction identifiers, entitlement status, and related technical records.
This purchase information is separate from the contents of your Guide.
Restoring a purchase
KeepForThem allows eligible customers to restore their purchased access using the email address associated with their purchase.
Restoring your purchase restores access to KeepForThem. It does not restore the contents of a Guide created on another device or browser because KeepForThem does not maintain a server copy of your completed Guide.
If you request a purchase restoration or contact us, we may use your email address to respond to your request or send transactional messages related to your KeepForThem purchase.
We do not use purchase-restoration emails as marketing subscriptions unless you separately choose to receive marketing communications.
Website and technical information
Like most websites, KeepForThem and the services used to operate it may process limited technical information necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and understand use of the website. This may include information such as browser/device information, IP address, page activity, and similar technical data.
Service providers
KeepForThem uses third-party service providers to operate portions of the service, including payment processing, hosting/infrastructure, and transactional email delivery. These providers may process information necessary to perform their respective services.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed by KeepForThem. However, no website, device, browser, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any PDF or printed copy of your completed Guide.
Children
KeepForThem is intended for adults. It is not directed to children for independent use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as KeepForThem evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
